How CareerSeat Works
If you want to register a company, follow the link “Want to onboard your company?” found at the bottom of the register page. Once registered, the account that founded the company will be assigned the Head role.
Roles
Head: Has absolute power over any account in the company. Can promote and demote users in Company Structure. Platinum awards may only be issued by Heads. If your organisation requires more than one Head, please contact support@careerseat.com.
Admin: Can accept people into companies, set and redeem objectives, give awards, manage teams, remove or promote users, and access most company-wide controls. Admins cannot receive personal awards of any kind.
Manager: Can be assigned as team leaders, set and redeem objectives for other users, and has all the same access as employees. Managers cannot receive awards.
Employee: Can participate in monthly votes, be assigned objectives, and receive awards.
Feedback
All team feedback is public across the platform. Individual feedback can be hidden from personal profiles at the employee’s choice. Managers, Admins, and Heads can all leave monthly feedback for employees. Employees can submit complaints anonymously or otherwise through the Leave Feedback portal.
Joining an Organisation
To join an organisation, click on the Passkey tab. Users can enter this passkey during sign-up or at any time via Settings. Admins will then see requests to join in User Requests.
Awards & Objectives
To give personal monthly or annual awards, Admins should go to Issue Awards. For team-related actions (creation, deletion, awards, objectives), use Manage Teams. Managers and Admins can set monthly objectives for individuals in Manage Objectives. Admins and Heads can change user permissions via Company Structure.
Your Profile & Privacy
Go to Profile to view your objectives, awards, and references. Go to Home to see your position in the leaderboards. To make your information private across your organisation, use the Visibility tab.
